Wednesday Wish List {Stella & Dot}

July 30, 2014

Hi friends!!
Several months back when I started my Wednesday Wish List feature, my soul purpose was to share what I am loving currently and feel that you all would adore too!!
Today I am so excited to share this weeks wish list with you!!
I have always heard about Stella & Dot, but never had the opportunity to attend a trunk show.... A trunk show is pretty much a cool little party where a Stella & Dot stylist comes to your home and shares all the lovely items available for purchase.... An excellent excuse to have a party if you ask me... and totally worth checking out all that pretty eye candy!!
I am in the process of planning my very first trunk show through a friend of mine who just so happens to be a Stella & Dot stylist!!
When I spoke to her recently she told me to make a "wish list" for her so she could put those items together for my trunk show!!
How easy was that??!! Someone telling me to create a wish list!!
If you have browsed through the Stella & Dot website you can clearly see how easily a wish list can be created... You can actually create your own directly on the website!! I decided to put together my own Stella & Dot wish list.... These are just a few "must haves" on my list!!

My absolute favorite out of all of this cuteness are the adorable charm necklace. I love that you are able to add personalization and all the adorable little charms that you can add on as well....
There are so many cute and stylish ways to wear these necklaces. For tons of inspiration and style ideas and to stay up to date with anything and  everything Stella & Dot, follow them on Instagram, Twitter & Facebook!
You can also keep up with what Stella & Dot are loving on Pinterest!!
Are you loving Stella & Dot? If so what's your absolute fall must have??

Why I Love IKEA.... {Top 5 Reasons}

July 21, 2014

I can't recall how I discovered Ikea, but I'm pretty sure it had something to do with Pinterest.... All I really know is that I love Ikea from the bottom of my heart and today I'm going to share the top five reasons why I love IKEA!!

First and foremost. If you have ever been to Ikea or own Ikea products then I know you will totally relate to the first reason why I love it so much....Yes, you guessed it! It's affordable!! I mean where else can you go to find so many items under $100!! Seriously!!?? I'm pretty sure every room in my home has something that was purchased from Ikea and was less than $100.
Lets take a look shall we??

See those cute cloth towels hanging on my kitchen island?
Yup, picked those up at Ikea for a whooping forty-nine cents each!!

The chalkboard, cabinet and baskets all came from Ikea and
each one was under $100.

The dresser in our daughters room was $99.
I added the adorable butterfly nobs and did a little
DIY lettering on the front with gold paint pen.

The Ribba picture ledges and the Lack side table together under $100!

And in our living room the Byholma basket in gray was only $59.99!!
Perfect for toy storage!!

The second reason I love Ikea it for it's product versatility. There are so many items that take on different roles in different rooms. Take the Kallax shelving unit (formally Expedit) for example. I use ours in the dining room, but before that is was used in my office for craft storage. The Pax system is also very versatile. Check out how Jenna, from Jenna Sue Designs used the Pax system in her master bedroom and in her kitchen!! This goes right along with my third reason for loving Ikea!! Hackable!!! Yes, I invented a new word!! Ikea has so many items that you can create and DIY into anything you like in hundreds of different ways!! Check out my Ikea Crush board on Pinterest for incredible Ikea hacks!!
The fourth reason I love Ikea is product durability!! All of the items we have from Ikea have lasted us a good three years and we haven't had to replace or fix anything!! It's amazing how so many items from Ikea are so inexpensive, yet durable enough to last so long!!
The fifth and final reason I love Ikea is because of all the adorable children's items!! From stuffed toys to train sets, markers, crayons, mini furniture that kids actually fit in, chairs, stools, rugs, you name it, Ikea has it and for kids!! I could pretty much go on and on about Ikea and all it's loveliness... I will end here with one other reason why I totally love Ikea and completely forgot about while writing this post....
The perfect excuse to go shopping at Ikea...
$1 fat free ice cream!!  Nuff said!!
Hope your having a Happy Monday!!

Wednesday Wishlist {Joss and Main with My Sweet Savannah}

July 9, 2014

Do you all window shop online??

Don't judge me, but I do all the time! I even go as far as to put items in my

cart as if someone else is going to purchase them for me and by some

miracle just show up at my door!! Ha!!

A girl can dream people and that is one of my many ways of day dreaming!

Joss and Main is just one of those shops I frequently window shop!

I have made several "must have" purchases from Joss and Main and I

must admit they never disappoint!

Today I'm sharing some things on my wish list from the

My Sweet Savannah Curator's collection. Melanie, from one of my

absolute favorite blogs, which also happens to be the very first blog I

discovered,  My Sweet Savannah,  put this collection together.

This collection is right up my ally!! Rustic country & southern inspirations

is exactly the type of décor that I love and I'm so excited to share these

pieces from Melanie's collection!

These are just a few because honestly I love every last piece!!

Wednesday Wish List {Ballard Designs Love}

June 18, 2014

Hi Friends!! So sorry this post is so late today, but it was just to gorgeous out not soak up some sun!!
Not sure about you, but for me getting a new Ballard Designs catalog in the mail is like Christmas morning!! I get all giddy, get my sharpie out and start marking all the things on my "wish list"!! Little fun fact about me when it comes to catalogs and magazines..... I always start from the back of the catalog first. Not sure why, it's just a habit or ritual if you will that has always stuck with me... Please tell me I'm not the only weirdo that does this??!! There is nothing like going through a brand new catalog and checking out all the news items, not to mention how much I adore how all the rooms in the Ballard Designs catalog are styled!! I guess I could very easily just go online and check out the website, but there is just something about flipping through a catalog that I just can't get when I browse online.
So right now I have a few specific items from Ballards that have been on my wish list for some time now. I'm always afraid that these items are going to be discontinued or out of stock when I'm finally ready to purchase them!!
Let's hope these items hang around for a while!

I love these Linen Sheer Tie Top Panel. They will look perfect in my dining room.
Loving the Sonoma Bookcase. I will need two of these for my
dining room. Placing one of these on either side of the dining
room window will create the perfect symmetry for the space.

I plan on purchasing two of these Carriage House Chandeliers for our living room.
I have been crushing on these for almost three years now!! I think it's time to snag
these up!!

I have loved Ballard Designs ever since I was a little girl....
I used to fetch the mail daily to ensure I got a hold of the latest catalog before my
mom. Back in those days before Pinterest was even a thought, I would make little scrap
books of all the home ideas and inspirations I loved. I think I may have some of those
very clippings to this very day!!
Do you have a favorite catalog that you crush on?
If so I'd love to hear about it!!

I will be busy the next few days preparing for our big
Minion 2nd Birthday Party for our JJ!!
Have a great rest of the week!!

Wednesday Wish List {The House of Belonging Designs & Birthday Wishes to My Baby Boy!!}

June 4, 2014

Happy Wednesday friends!!

Today I am sharing one of my absolute favorite shops on Etsy,

The shop owner, Tiffini Kilgore is an amazing woman with a huge heart!!

You can read more about her and her amazing journey here on her blog.

I have purchased several signs of hers and Tiffini has created three

custom signs for me as well.... I still have a few more on my "wish list"

as well.... Here are just a few I continually droll over....

I do intend to purchase one or more of these fine pieces in the near future!

I simply love having words of truth and wisdom hung all around my home

as daily reminders of what life has blessed me with and what I have yet to

learn. Some folks like to have art on their walls or simply nothing at all, but

for me nothing is more beautiful than the spoken word written humbly for

all to see. Tiffini truly knows how to make words come alive through

these signs and I am so grateful to her and her spirit.

Here is my favorite piece I had asked Tiffini to create for me in memory

of my mother who was taken from us nearly four years ago...

For my family and I these words bring comfort to our hearts

knowing that my mom is safe and free of pain while always with us....

And a little bit of heaven too....

Please take a moment to check out The House of Beloning Designs

and enjoy the rest of your week!!

I'm off to celebrate my little man's 2nd Birthday!!!

I had to do it!!!

Wishing my little man a very Happy 2nd Birthday!!

Mommy, Daddy & Gracie love you tons!!!
