For some reason this week I seem to have been drawn to more decorating inspiration more than anything. I think it may have something to do with trying to style my dining room walls and paint colors for my living room and I'm still trying to figure out how to style the walls over our TV!! Yes, I will be repainting my living room walls sooner than later!! More on that at the end of the week!!

Hi Friends! Another week of summer down!! Six more to go!! I could not believe my eyes when I walked into our local Target the other day and saw these words "Back to School Stuff". OMG. Are you kidding?? Needless to say, way to soon to even think about purchasing back to school items!! I'm much to busy enjoying summer!! I have some great summer inspired Pinterest picks to share with you!! Since it is still summer why not enjoy it!! Very "Pinteresting" Tuesday!! {Vol. VI}

Hi friends!! Hope you had an amazing 4th of July weekend!

 

We had a fun filled weekend with family and friends!

 

It's Tuesday and I have some really fun Pinterest picks to share with you!

 

Sometimes scrolling through Pinterest can be very over whelming.

 

There are so many DIY's, recipes, décor and organization ideas

 

that you may feel you will never have the time to get to any of them!

 

Well have no fear!! Just pin what you like and go back later and choose one

 

thing each week you really love and go for it! Be it a recipe you like to try

 

 or even a DIY.... Just be sure you have the time to put in. Don't do anything

 

you have never tried when you are in a rush!! I've learned that the hard way!

 

Once you have completed what ever it is you decided to tackle, create a new

 

Pinterest board for all the things you did and make a quick note as to

 

 whether it was a Pinterest "fail" or "score" that way you aren't going

 

through a bunch of pins you've have already tackled!

Very "Pinteresting" Tuesday {Vol. V}

When I was a little girl I loved getting catalogs in the mail.

 

The J.C. Penny catalog, Ballard Designs, Pottery Barn, as well as all the

 

 magazine subscriptions my mom used to get. For me it was like Christmas

 

 morning!! I used to start from the back of the catalog or magazine and get

 

my pen and mark my name next to all the things I wanted and I used to

 

 make little scrapbooks of all the ways I wanted to decorate my house....

 

I also loved going to visit my mom's friends because I loved seeing how

 

 they decorated and I used to think in my mind if that home was mine how I

 

 would arrange or change things.... Putting all these things together and

 

thinking about what I really love to do pretty much sums up my obsession

 

 with Pinterest! I always say if I had Pinterest seven yeas ago when I was

 

getting married and when we purchased our home it all would have been so

 

 much different..... As silly and crazy as it may seem to some people,

 

 Pinterest really has helped my "décor style" to evolve and opened my eyes

 

to things I never really thought I could do or ever like...

 

So for me, Pinterest is my "daily catalog or magazine" and I swear by it!
